We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our cargo facility.

Job Description:

The Senior Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing the packaging, marking, labeling, documenting, and movement of all cargo from McMurdo Station to outlying field locations, the United States, and other international destinations. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the cargo shipping industry, warehouse operations, or heavy equipment. They must also possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the cargo facility
  • Manage the packaging, marking, labeling, documenting, and movement of all cargo
  • Ensure safety is the highest priority in the workplace
  • Supervise and lead warehouse personnel
  • Train personnel in the safe operation of material handling equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the Senior Logistics Coordinator must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in the cargo shipping industry, warehouse operations, or heavy equipment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States
