About the Role

The Senior Laboratory Operations Specialist will independently perform advanced level laboratory functions with competence and minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will support the Technology Department through all stages of product development and testing.

This role reports directly to the Senior Laboratory Executive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all Lab Job Tickets assigned are performed accordingly and completed on time;
  • Independently and competently perform assigned tasks in a prioritized, logical, and timely manner in agreement with company laboratory and safety procedures with competence and minimum supervision;
  • Test in accordance with specifications provided;
  • Perform all core function/testing required by this position;
  • Assist in reviewing & writing of SOPs and standard test methods;
  • Enter test data and conditions into the lab system and assemble into a simple report;
  • Capable of conducting internal R&R;
  • Troubleshoot lab equipment issues with assistance from M&E/equipment vendor;
  • Prepare testing reports.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Process Technology;
  • 3 years of related work experience;
  • Work experience in Manufacturing environment preferred;
  • Good understanding of manufacturing safety and 5S.
