Manufacturing Biotechnologist Upstream

">

We are seeking a skilled Biotechnology Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing process of biological products. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing routine manufacturing processes and ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Perform equipment preparation and maintenance tasks including CIP, PT, SIP, etc.">
  • Support day-to-day production activities and record data according to Electronic Batch Record (EBR) in compliance with GMP, Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines.">
  • Monitor equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement.">
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and supporting functions to resolve any safety, quality, or process irregularities.">
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues promptly and efficiently.">
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area, adhering to 5S principles and Kanban practices.">
  • Review documentation of activities as per GDP (Good Documentation Practice) and maintain accurate records.">
  • Utilize sophisticated software programs (LIMS, SAP, DCS, MES, etc.) to collect and evaluate data, informing process improvements and product development.">
  • Stay up-to-date with training requirements and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.">
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • ">
  • Degree/Diploma/ITE in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology equivalent.">
  • Minimum 1-year relevant biotechnologist experience, preferably in GMP and/or Upstream.">
  • Familiarity with Fermentation Cell Culture, Bioreactor Processing, Media and Buffer Preparation, and Downstream Processing is an added advantage.">
  • Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts and possess strong teamwork and analytical skills.">
  • Physically able to lift heavy loads of up to 10kgs.">
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.">
