Job Title: Biotechnology Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biotechnology Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine manufacturing processes and equipment preparation.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CIP, PT, SIP, and other routine manufacturing processes.
  • Support day-to-day production activities and record data in compliance with GMP, Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines.
  • Monitor equipment and process performance.
  • Communicate with supervisors and supporting functions regarding safety, quality, and process irregularities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
  • Maintain production area housekeeping standards.
  • Review documentation of activities as per GDP (Good Documentation Practice).
  • Use software programs like LIMS, SAP, DCS, MES, etc., to collect and evaluate data.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma/ITE in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant biotechnologist experience, preferably in GMP and/or Upstream.
  • Familiarity with Fermentation Cell Culture, Bioreactor processing, Media and Buffer Preparation, and Downstream Processing is an added advantage.
  • Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
  • Team player with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads up to 10kgs.
