Job Title: QS Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled QS Engineer to join our team at MWE ENGINEERING PTE LTD. As a QS Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive bid proposals for solar and BESS projects
  • Review and analyze solar photovoltaic (PV) proposals
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide accurate costings and proposals
  • Provide cost and contractual advice to the project team
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Familiar with applicable codes, standards, and regulations in Singapore
  • Implement cost control measures to track project expenses
  • Prepare project cost estimation and breakdown
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or a relevant PV engineering field
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy systems and/or deployment of BESS in Singapore project only
  • Experience in various renewables and clean energy sources with applications and utilisation of latest technology Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
  • Good knowledge and experience in tendering projects and cost estimation
  • Detail oriented, good communication and negotiation skills
