Job Description:

As a strategic leader, you will oversee the development and implementation of sustainable practices within our organization. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient operation of clean utility systems, leading cross-functional sustainability initiatives, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to identify opportunities for reliability, maintainability, and HSE improvements. Additionally, you will provide expertise on clean utilities and sustainability to project teams, manage audit readiness, and oversee contractor and vendor selection.

  • Maintain zero lost-time accidents related to CU operations and maintenance work.
  • Actively highlight and manage near misses, pSIFs to improve safety awareness.
  • Sustain healthy budget for Utilities and Clean Utilities.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance team to ensure zero overdue work order.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sustainable practices across the organization.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve sustainability goals.
  3. Provide expertise on clean utilities and sustainability to project teams.
  4. Manage audit readiness and oversee contractor and vendor selection.
  5. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We seek a candidate with a strong background in engineering, preferably in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems. A minimum of 8 years of experience in clean utilities operations and maintenance management is required, with at least 3 years in sustainability engineering within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC and black utilities management, as well as familiarity with local government regulations, industry codes, standards, and safety regulations. A Singapore Certified Energy manager and Boiler Competence certification are preferred.
