Social Media Marketing Specialist

World Table Tennis (WTT) is revolutionizing the way table tennis is viewed and commercialized globally. With significant investment and a long-term partnership commitment, WTT aims to create new assets and events, capitalizing on the sport's unparalleled potential. Our goal is to build WTT into a revenue-generating powerhouse, ploughing profits back into table tennis to continually develop and transform the sport.
Job Title: Social Media SpecialistWe're seeking a highly skilled Social Media Specialist to join our team at World Table Tennis. As a key member of our marketing team, you'll be responsible for creating and executing innovative social media strategies that drive engagement, reach, and revenue with captivating content across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement dynamic social media strategies aligned with WTT's marketing goals.
- Manage content calendars for consistent, engaging posts in support of WTT's brand initiatives and events worldwide.
- Collaborate across departments to integrate campaigns, enhancing fan engagement and event promotions.
- Work closely with the marketing team, including PR and video production, to create compelling fan campaigns and content for events and partnerships.
- Partner with PR and Marketing to promote players on WTT social channels during and outside events.
- Collaborate with the Commercial and Brand Partnerships team for creative delivery of maximum ROI through social content.
- Utilize analytics to track campaign performance and make strategic adjustments.
- Lead social media communication, building networks with industry professionals and influencers.
- Support the social media team members, promoting creativity and a highly collaborative environment.
- Diploma in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, or a related field, with a sports industry background preferred.
- 2-3 years of social media marketing and content development experience, showcasing community growth.
- Experience in the sports, broadcast, or events industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in English, with exceptional communication skills.
- Strong SEO, content optimization expertise, and social media metrics understanding.
- Familiarity with social media tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and best practices across major platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Weibo, and Douyin.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team player mindset.
- Creative thinking and a passion for table tennis or sports marketing.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
