Job Description

As a Virtualization Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing VMware virtualization solutions for enterprise clients.

You will work closely with clients to understand their infrastructure needs, develop tailored virtualization strategies, and ensure the successful deployment and integration of VMware technologies.

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Solution Design & Architecture:
      • Assess client requirements and design VMware-based virtualization architectures to meet performance, scalability, and availability goals.
      • Prepare high-level and detailed solution designs, including infrastructure diagrams and configuration documentation.
      • Recommend best practices for VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Horizon, and related products.
    • Implementation & Deployment:
      • Install, configure, and integrate VMware solutions in on-premises, hybrid, or cloud environments.
      • Conduct system migrations from physical to virtual (P2V) and virtual to virtual (V2V) environments.
      • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies using VMware tools and third-party solutions.
    • Technical Consultancy & Advisory:
      • Provide expert guidance to clients on VMware licensing, capacity planning, and system optimization.
      • Advise on security hardening, compliance requirements, and performance tuning.
      • Conduct knowledge sharing and training sessions as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Proficiency in VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Horizon, and related products
  • Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, networking, and storage
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
