Robotics and Design Educator K-12 Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Robotics and Design Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and mentoring students in robotics and design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance the STEM robotics curriculum
  • Mentor students in practical coding projects and STEM-based problem-solving
  • Teach effective arrangement of visual elements for clarity, impact, and aesthetic appeal
  • Assess student learning and provide consistent feedback

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in robotics and design education
  • Proficiency in Fusion 360 Software/Inkscape
  • Ability to use 3D printer and laser cutter
  • Programming language proficiency in Python, Java, Scratch, HTML

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of resistant material manufacturing/joining and assembly processes
  • Experience with computer science at middle and IGCSE level
