About Us

The role of a Public Health Officer is to safeguard the health of citizens by reducing the burden of communicable diseases through evidence-based policy formulation and effective disease prevention and control programmes.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Formulation, implementation, monitoring and review of disease prevention and control strategies
  • Develop and implement surveillance programmes
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise for travel health
  • Programme management and administration

Key Requirements:

  • Preferably with Pharmacy, Life Science, Medical, Nursing, Public Health or Epidemiology background
  • Minimum 2-3 years work experience in public health or travel medicine
  • Strong analytical skillsets, including grasp of data analysis techniques
  • Ability to work under pressure and simultaneously on different projects
  • Excellent organisational skills and resourcefulness
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across disciplines
