Commodity Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced commodity sourcing specialist to join our team. This role will involve developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth, while ensuring alignment with global objectives and contributing to the overall segment business plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regional segment strategies to ensure optimal sourcing outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with global segment leaders to integrate regional insights and priorities into the global strategy.
  • Translate strategic plans into actionable sourcing initiatives, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
  • Oversee the creation, implementation, and periodic review of regional segment plans to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Manage sourcing processes and lead negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes for assigned segments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Evaluate supplier choices using a structured scoring methodology and maintain accurate supplier data, including classifications, payment terms, and currency arrangements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regional and local stakeholders, acting as a strategic sourcing ambassador.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in a relevant field.
  • Minimal 3 years of experience in purchasing, direct/indirect purchasing experience is preferred.
  • Experience in supplier selection processes and project management.
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to drive change.
