Job Title: Vision Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Vision Software Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in software development, machine vision, and semiconductor automation.

About the Role:

This position combines software development with regional customer support responsibilities. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining vision processing algorithms, integrating industrial cameras and lighting systems, and enhancing AOI platforms for wafer, wirebond, and package inspection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain vision processing algorithms (OCR, defect detection, measurement, object recognition).
  • Integrate industrial cameras, lighting, and frame grabbers into inspection systems.
  • Enhance AOI platforms for wafer, wirebond, and package inspection.
  • Provide technical support to field engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Optimize software for high-speed, real-time performance.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3-6 years' experience in machine vision or semiconductor automation.
  • Strong skills in C++, with experience in OpenCV/Matrox Imaging Library.
  • Hands-on experience with AOI systems and industrial hardware integration.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
