We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to join our team.
As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing custom machine vision and GUI applications.
You will work closely with our engineers to design and develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing custom machine vision algorithms for product quality inspection, process control, and manufacturing automation.
- Developing rich and modern user interfaces using C#, WPF, and .NET Framework.
- Configuring vision systems, including host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, and interfaces.
- Analyzing project requirements and designing, developing, and testing multitasking Windows desktop applications for industrial equipment.
- Understanding and interfacing with third-party embedded controllers using their APIs.
- Optimizing existing software to improve performance and fix bugs.
- Providing technical support to the field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in vision and developing Windows applications for industrial/automation equipment using C#, WPF, and .NET Framework.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, camera interface, and motion controller interface protocols like Epson, ABB, Beckhoff, etc.
- Knowledge of MODBUS, SECS/GEM, and other industrial protocols is an added advantage.
- Strong process mapping and software design concepts.
