We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence, public research funding, and innovation-driven R&D.

About The Role

You will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic R&D programmes, managing public grant portfolios, and driving cross-sector collaborations that advance AI technologies and their applications across industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grant Programme Management: Oversee the lifecycle of public research grants—from proposal evaluation to project monitoring and reporting. Ensure compliance with funding guidelines and alignment with national R&D priorities.
  • Ai Strategy & R&D Oversight: Identify emerging AI trends and opportunities for strategic investment. Support the development and execution of AI-related R&D programmes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with academia, government agencies, and industry players. Facilitate public-private partnerships to accelerate technology adoption and commercialization.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in managing public research grants, preferably in a government or research agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, applications, and R&D processes.
  • Proven track record in programme or project management within the research or innovation ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
