Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the scheduling of patients for surgery in Major Surgery Suite.
  • Manage the coordination of resources, including operating theatre, schedules of surgeons/assistants/equipment.
  • Monitor and ensure availability of resources in Major Surgery Suite to enable timely decisions on resource management.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless operating theatre management in Major Surgery Suite.
  • Work closely with Bed Management Unit to coordinate, communicate, and execute necessary actions for bed placement and tight bed situations.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and duties assigned by Senior Nurse Manager.
Requirements:
  • Recognized Diploma in any discipline or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare industries, preferably in bed management and operating room scheduling.
  • Possess knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Good command of English.
  • Customer-oriented with a pleasant disposition and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate.
