Empowering the Next Generation

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with hearing loss by developing their skills in Singapore Sign Language.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with teachers to create inclusive lesson plans catering to diverse learning needs.
  2. Work closely with mainstream teachers to deliver lessons and promote educational inclusivity.
  3. Foster awareness and provide support to ensure an inclusive environment for all students.
  4. Develop and implement targeted intervention programs to address academic and social emotional development.
  5. Design assessment methods that accommodate the communication modes and abilities of HL students.
  6. Participate in events and meetings to contribute to student growth and empowerment.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  1. Achieved SgSL Course Level 3 or at least SEE2 Advanced Stage.
  2. A degree in any field, preferably with additional qualifications in special education.
  3. Relevant teaching experience, particularly in special education.
  4. Experience interacting with the Deaf community is beneficial.
