Backend Data Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Data Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining core products within our big data ecosystem.

Job Description:

  • Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of core products within the big data ecosystem.
  • Write high-quality, efficient, scalable, and maintainable backend code.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA to deliver robust, production-ready features.
  • Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and developer experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including: data structures & algorithms, operating systems, networking, distributed systems.
  • Proficient in at least one backend programming language: Java, Python, or Go.
  • Familiar with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and middleware technologies (e.g., Redis, Kafka).
  • Understanding of protocol, RESTful API design, and microservice architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or project experience related to: backend system development, big data infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies, such as: Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Presto, StarRocks etc.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in large-scale systems.
