About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Business Technology team at DBS Bank Limited. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in enabling and empowering the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop integration/automation components for DevOps productivity tools and environments.
  • Develop solutions for data analytics and reporting.
  • Be an innovative and hands-on DevOps capable of looking at both the technology and strategy around the platform.
  • Support design and development of process automation for DevOps activities.
  • Support documentation of standard processes and best practices.
  • Continuous experimentation of Continuous Delivery and Testing processes and practices.
  • Hands-on coding, unit testing, and automated functional testing.
  • Involved in web development, REST API development, and smart metering information development.
  • Ability to conduct research into software issues and products as required.
  • Ability to work with the latest tools and techniques.
  • Working in highly collaborative teams and building quality environments.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced, global environment.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field that involves programming, or a combination of equivalent practical experience and education.
  • Minimum years working experience in a relevant role.
  • Significant experience with Java 11/17, Spring Boot Framework, Maven, Kafka, Web Sockets, gRPC, Gradle, Node JS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in utilizing open-source technologies and related configurations.
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP protocols.
  • Experience working with DevOps tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube).
  • Experience in at least one of the databases such as MariaDB/MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server/Redis/MongoDB/Hive.
  • Good to have an experience on BPMN frameworks like Camunda/Activiti.
  • Good to have an experience on JIRA administration and groovy scripting.
  • Experience in ELK stack (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana) and Grafana.
  • Good to have an experience in Java design patterns, Micro services, and event-driven architectures.
  • Good to have an experience on test automation like JUnit's, Cucumber, Selenium, TDD, etc.
  • Good to be able to perform data analysis to develop dashboards and metrics.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills and can adapt to changes in business requirements.
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage assignments effectively and working within tight deadlines.
  • Strong communications skills to collaborate with developers, QA, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile teams using JIRA tool.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to learn new skills, existing, and emerging technologies.
