About Our Business Development Role

At Smiling Star International, we're expanding our enrichment programs and curriculum licensing globally. As a key player in this growth, you'll lead business development efforts to tap into international markets, especially China.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand our enrichment programs and curriculum licensing locally and overseas.
  • IDentify new business opportunities, partners, and distribution channels, focusing on international markets (especially China).
  • Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and build long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business expansion strategies.
  • Manage client relationships and oversee accounts to ensure successful delivery and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (curriculum, marketing, operations) to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related fields (other backgrounds considered with relevant skills).
  • Prior experience in sales, business development, customer service, account management, or partnership management advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn about the education and enrichment sector.
  • Passionate about contributing to children's learning and being part of a brand with global growth ambitions.
