Executive Pastry Director Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and passionate Pastry Head Chef to oversee our bakery's pastry operations. As the leader of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative menu items, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation, and maintaining a high level of efficiency.

  • Develop seasonal menus that align with customer preferences and our brand standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team, providing training and support to ensure they are motivated and working efficiently.
  • Oversight of pastries preparation, presentation, and service to guarantee consistent quality and timely delivery.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborate with our management team to identify new opportunities and improve operations continuously.

Requirements:

Skillset: Baking, Leadership, Inventory Management, Team Management, Food Safety, Food Quality, Budgeting, Nutrition, Pastry

Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a reputable cafe, restaurant, or bakery

About You: Passionate about baking and pastry; excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills; creativity and flair for developing innovative menu items; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
