This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the mechanical and electrical works of a project, ensuring that they are completed to the highest standard.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the mechanical and electrical works of the project, exercising all reasonable skill, care and diligence in the discharge of their duties. They will also supervise the execution of construction works, ensuring that they are carried out by contractors in accordance with contract specifications and drawings.
The role requires strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services, as well as local construction practices. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma / ITC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in building services supervision.
The successful candidate will work closely with contractors to coordinate site works and resolve installation issues, ensuring that the work site remains safe, clean and tidy. They will also maintain proper site records on progress of work and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Diploma / ITC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- National Certificate in Construction Supervision from BCA or equivalent (advantageous).
- Registered Resident Technical Officer accredited by IES/ACES.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building services supervision.
