This is a role that involves providing comprehensive operational support for fixed income products, focusing on bonds and repos. The specialist will be responsible for validating trades, settling transactions, and confirming pre-settlements to ensure seamless completion of daily operations in line with internal, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications- Familiarity with fixed income products, including bonds and repos;
- Experience in trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation;
- Proficiency in Murex and/or Front Arena systems;
- Understanding of banking compliance and regulatory requirements;
- Accuracy and attention to detail in transaction validation.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders (e.g., GFM branches, CBG, WMO) and external counterparties;
- Knowledge of pre-settlement processes and trade confirmations;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple transactions;
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
- Prior experience in an investment bank or securities operations team.
- Supporting end-to-end processing of fixed income products;
- Ensuring smooth completion and settlement of daily Bonds/Repo operations;
- Validating trades against source documents in Murex and/or Front Arena;
- Executing pre-settlement confirmations with counterparties;
- Liaising with internal departments (local GFM branches, CBG, WMO) or Common Depository for fixing/settlement as needed;
- Maintaining compliance with banking, statutory, internal, and regulatory requirements.
