About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team at MUFG Investor Services.

As a Fund Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for providing fund administration services to our real estate clients, including preparing Net Asset Value calculations and associated reporting, investor capital call and distribution calculations, and annual financial audit assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports and statements for clients, including Net Asset Value calculations and investor capital call and distribution calculations.
  • Assist with the annual financial audit and other statutory reporting requirements.
  • Provide support to the tax agent on tax reporting and maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles.
  • Develop and implement solutions for issues arising from the financial reporting and income and expense allocations for Partner's Capital Statement reporting.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Finance or Accounting and have a minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience in real estate funds or a related industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the fund industry and strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new technologies for efficient solutions.
