  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee faculty development initiatives, including tracking and monitoring faculty performance.
  • Initiate and coordinate outreach efforts to identify potential candidates for faculty positions.
  • Manage non-tenure track structured faculty appointments and re-appointments, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the annual faculty performance appraisal exercise, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Lead the faculty promotion & tenure (P&T) exercise, coordinating and overseeing the entire process.
  • Manage NAP & NRF Fellowship recruitment, responsible for the end-to-end process.
  • Nominate faculty members for local and international awards, working closely with the Associate Chair (Faculty) and School Chair.
  • Utilize the NTU-MSE LinkedIn Recruiter platform to source potential candidates for faculty and research staff positions.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree in Engineering / Science with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in administration within an Institute of Higher Learning.
  • Extensive experience working with various stakeholders, preferably in career services or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles and practices.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with advanced proficiency in data analysis and systems thinking.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to multitask under given timelines.
  • Possess initiative, able to work as a team player, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
