Job Title: Environmental Chemist Specialist

Job Description:

As an Environmental Chemist Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying laboratory test results, generating and emailing analysis reports to clients. You will also perform laboratory testing on environmental samples and accurately report test data. Additionally, you will supervise junior analysts in routine sample analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify laboratory test results; generate and email analysis reports to clients.
  • Perform laboratory testing on environmental samples and accurately report test data.
  • Supervise junior analysts in routine sample analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Cover duties for analysts or administrative staff when needed.
  • Oversee quality control procedures and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
  • Conduct training for lab personnel on testing procedures and equipment use.
  • Maintain and update the laboratory's quality system in compliance with SAC-SINGLAS requirements.
  • Ensure equipment performance and data reliability through routine QA/QC protocols and scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Participate in planning and distribution of lab work.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide support for after-hours sample activation when needed.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
