We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer with CCNA certification to join our team at Thales Solutions Asia PTE. LTD.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the hardware infrastructure and systems for our Seamless Identity Management Platform for Experience (SIMPLE) system designed for Singapore Changi Airport.
You will be part of a dedicated team of engineers ensuring superior technical competency in system availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:- Field Support: Perform Corrective Maintenance (CM) on failed hardware and software related to SIMPLE, restore the system to operational condition, and maintain records of system operational availability and reliability.
- Field Testing: Conduct software testing on the system, ensure correct configuration, and test equipment calibration.
- Spares Services: Manage spares provisioning, support, and test equipment, undertake store keeping functions, and perform serviceability checks.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Carry out PM on hardware to retain the system in specified operational condition, follow approved PM checklists, and submit reports.
- Calibration Services: Liaise with vendors to perform calibration services on test equipment.
- CCNA certified
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT/Engineering discipline
- Minimally 1-2 years of experience in supporting network, security, server, and UPS
- Experience in supporting mission-critical systems with stringent SLA of 99.9%
- Well-versed in IT Service Management (ITSM) standards, processes, guidelines, and best practices
$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience
