Job Title: Risk and Compliance Specialist

Are you passionate about safeguarding the firm's assets and overseeing controls to mitigate financial crime risks?

  • Implement controls to prevent money laundering and other financial crimes.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of prospects and existing clients to identify potential threats.
  • Maintain a robust first line of defense to detect and escalate suspicious activities.

The Incident and Client Advisory (ICA) team supports all aspects of Client Onboarding, including AML and KYC requirements. As a Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will work closely with the team to ensure all onboarding processes align with the Asset and Wealth Management business segment's strategy.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that all prospects are onboarded in accordance with the business segment's strategy.
  • Ashing financial crime risks and reputational risks of prospects and existing clients.
  • Making independent recommendations regarding AML risk and escalations as part of the first line of defense.
  • Facilitating the review and approval of relevant documents.
