We are seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our team in Global Markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about driving compliance excellence and supporting the growth of our business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying changes in regulations that may impact our compliance policies and procedures, as well as proposing controls to manage and mitigate risks.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. If you have a proven track record in market compliance and a passion for delivering results-driven solutions, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential risks and propose compliance controls to manage and mitigate risks
  • Ensure proper documentation and updating of compliance policies and procedures
  • Provide advisory and support to global market business on regulatory compliance matters
  • First point of contact for internal, external auditors and regulators
  • Reporting to HO on status of market compliance initiatives
  • Implementation of Head Office rules and controls
  • Review AGMD departments' activities to identify methods to improve regulatory compliance and propose recommendations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, finance, accounting)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in market compliance (Associate level) or 5 years (Vice President level)
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and global financial markets
  • Possesses solid knowledge of market trends and developments, with experience in global financial markets
  • Strong knowledge in both local and international/extra-territorial regulations
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and provide advisory to support departments in Global Markets
  • Familiar with Global Markets products and services
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence others and embed frameworks, processes, and recommendations
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365
