Job Title: Facilities Operations Director

The role of a Facilities Operations Director is to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and meet operational requirements. This involves coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to deliver high-quality services.

  • Develop and implement facilities management strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including facility users, vendors, and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with facilities operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of maintenance schedules, work orders, and other facilities-related processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of facilities operations with other business functions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and ideas from employees and stakeholders.
  • Analyse data and metrics to inform facilities management decisions, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing timely and transparent information to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve facilities operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, operations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering results-oriented facilities management strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
