The role of Claims Associate is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of assessments and supporting documents submitted by applicants. This involves thoroughly reviewing applications to verify they meet the eligibility criteria for various grants and schemes, as well as capturing details accurately in the system against submitted documents.

This position requires effective communication skills, as the Claims Associate will liaise with assessors and applicants on any queries related to assessments or applications. Additionally, this individual must be able to record and respond to inquiries from applicants, notifying them of incomplete or ineligible application outcomes.

Key qualifications include a degree in any discipline or a diploma holder with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Experience in public sector grants and claims processing is highly advantageous, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also crucial, as is attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
