Wildlife Reserves Singapore is dedicated to the stewardship of unique wildlife habitats, offering visitors immersive experiences that connect them with the wonders of nature. The organization is currently implementing an ambitious revitalization strategy that integrates multiple wildlife parks with diverse nature-centric experiences, green spaces, and sustainable resort options.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal husbandry, housing, care, feeding, training, enrichment, and presentation of animals in accordance with the organization's Animal Welfare Code.
  • Monitor and report any irregularities, potential health issues, or behavioral concerns in the animals.
  • Maintain accurate daily records for feeding, weights, behavior, training, and enrichment as required.
  • Report necessary repairs and renovations.
  • Deliver high-quality animal presentations and interactive guest programs aimed at promoting conservation awareness.
  • Participate in shows as a presenter, handler, or backstage support.
  • Conduct training sessions with designated animals and behaviors within established timelines.
  • Engage in discussions to contribute to the design and development of new animal behaviors, routines, and presentation concepts for shows and programs.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 'N' Level qualification.
  • Preferred experience in animal care, veterinary practices, training, or presentations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Comfortable presenting to audiences and working closely with animals.
  • Ability to contribute innovative ideas to enhance presentations.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.

Applicants with extensive relevant experience may be considered for a more senior role.
