Vice President of Finance

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring financial reporting adheres to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, the bank's accounting policies and procedures, and compliance with local statutory & MAS regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily accounting operations, including daily GL management, review NOSTRO accounts reconciliation, OPEX processes, and ensure timely delivery of management reporting.
- Review and enhance workflows and internal controls, and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
- Liaise with the branch's internal and external auditors on audit matters.
- Manage the Accounts Team in ensuring timely delivery of local financial and regulatory reporting and statistical surveys.
- Prepare tax computation schedules, check tax computations, and liaise with tax agents on Branch's corporate tax.
- Familiar with MAS reporting, review MAS reports prepared by the team, draft and respond to queries and questions raised by MAS.
- Check daily management reports and conduct in-depth financial analysis on the branch's financial performance.
- Bachelor Degree in Finance & Accounting preferably with CA qualification.
- Minimum 6 years financial and accounting experience in banks.
- In-depth experience in financial analysis, financial and regulatory report management, whole suite of financial and accounting functions.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to multi-task amongst various duties as and when required.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese as incumbent will need to prepare various reports in Chinese and correspond with colleagues in China.
