Job Description

This role involves integrating early childhood development concepts into a specialized language curriculum.

  • We're looking for someone who can integrate core concepts of early childhood development into our language curriculum.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with our learning support teams to enhance language acquisition and literacy skills.
  • Our team uses tailored observation and documentation methods to monitor progress in cognitive, social, and physical domains aligned with developmental milestones.
  • Adaptation is key - we need someone who can adapt teaching materials and strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and interests.
  • Strengthening language proficiency through interactive sessions is essential.
  • Design engaging play-based language activities that promote respect, responsiveness, and reciprocity per established early childhood theories.
  • BUILDING STRONG FAMILY PARTNERSHIPS VIA TIMELY COMMUNICATION AND RESOURCE SHARING IS ESSENTIAL FOR CONTINUITY OF LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT BETWEEN CENTRE AND HOME.
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Preschool Mother Tongue Language (CPMRL), Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or an equivalent ECDA-recognized qualification is required.
  • A minimum three GCE 'O' Level credits, with at least a B4 in Malay and a C6 in English, is mandatory.
  • At least two years of relevant experience with young children is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of current early childhood development theories and practices is necessary.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills are a must.
  • Familiarity with ECDA policies, regulations, and quality assurance frameworks is also required.
  • Ability to provide support for events is desired.
