Trade Operations Professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and negotiate sales and purchase agreements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, surveyors, bankers, ship owners/brokers, cargo agents and insurance brokers.
  • Manage logistics operations, including liaising with terminals, vessel operators, cargo surveyors, agents and customers for oil loading/discharge operations.
  • Proactively manage demurrage, oil loss and insurance claims recovery.
  • Knowledge of trade finance transactions (ILC, TR, freight loan, ELC discounting) is an advantage.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must hold a minimum diploma qualification.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mature, independent, self-motivated and team-oriented individual.
  • 0-2 years of experience in trade operations within the energy and/or commodities industry.
