We are seeking a highly motivated Maritime Operations Specialist to join our team at Wecruit Pte Ltd. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of vessel management and charterparty negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Manage operational tasks, including thorough follow-up, precise execution, and successful closure of fixtures, to ensure seamless vessel operations.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis on supply and demand trends, assess dry bulk market conditions, and monitor broader macroeconomic factors to inform strategic decisions.
  • Reporting: Review and verify monthly/quarterly reports from Technical Managers, addressing any deviations or clarifications, to maintain accurate records and drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members from departments such as Operations, Research & Risk, Technical, and Finance to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum degree in Maritime Studies or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities, to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Soft Skills: Highly motivated, proactive, and a team player, with adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
