Job Title: Senior Battery Systems Specialist

This is a challenging role that involves the installation, testing and commissioning of battery systems at client locations worldwide.

  • We are looking for an Electrical Service Engineer to perform system testing during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) according to established protocols and compile related test and quality control documentation.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for carrying out installation, testing and commissioning of battery systems at client locations.
  • In addition, they will provide technical assistance and instructions to customers regarding the electrical integration of batteries with renewable sources, diesel generators and load systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in testing PCB assemblies, relays, battery management system (BMS) parts, sensor inputs, protection elements, AC and DC distribution boards before system activation.
  • They will also set up and adjust battery inverters to comply with specific national or regional standards.
  • Furthermore, they will utilize external DC power supplies to pre-charge batteries as guided by service manuals.
  • The successful candidate will diagnose and resolve both hardware and software issues that may occur during battery operation.
  • Remotely monitoring all deployed battery units, tracking system performance and addressing operational issues as needed are also key responsibilities.
  • The engineer will prepare thorough on-site service reports, clearly documenting identified issues and solutions provided.
