The role of Academic Advisor involves identifying and supporting students who are at risk of not meeting their academic goals through early intervention strategies. These may include providing individualised support to develop essential academic skills such as writing, communication and examination preparation. Additionally, the advisor will work closely with other support services to provide holistic support to students. The role also involves managing student appeals related to academic status and communicating outcomes in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
1. Identify students who are at risk of not meeting their academic goals and provide targeted support to help them succeed.
2. Develop and deliver workshops on academic integrity for students and staff to promote good practice and prevent plagiarism.
3. Work collaboratively with other support services to provide holistic support to students.
4. Manage student appeals related to academic status and communicate outcomes in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field. Proven experience in student support services, academic skills development, or academic integrity management. High proficiency in learning analytics tools and student management systems. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
