Investment Director Position

We seek a seasoned investment professional to spearhead strategic investment initiatives.

This role will be pivotal in driving growth and value creation across our portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and analyzing early-to-growth-stage investment opportunities, aligning with our firm's core mandates.
  • Conducting thorough market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and preparing comprehensive investment memoranda.
  • Leading or co-leading transaction structuring, negotiations, and deal execution processes.
  • Engaging with portfolio company management teams and boards to foster strategic growth and value enhancement.
  • Monitoring portfolio performance and reporting directly to our investment committees.
  • Supporting follow-on investments, exit strategies, and capital-raising initiatives.
  • Developing and refining investment theses in key sectors and regions.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal teams and external advisors.

Requirements for this position include:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
  • A proven track record in sectors such as healthcare, education, sustainability, or energy transition.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, coupled with deep knowledge of valuation methodologies.
  • Experience in conducting due diligence from a financial, legal, and operational perspective.
  • Exposure to investments in emerging markets, particularly across Asia.
  • Strong interest in impact investing and familiarity with impact measurement frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling influence on senior stakeholders.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields; CFA or MBA qualifications are a plus.
