Job Title: Ceiling Fan Installation Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Ceiling Fan Installation Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of ceiling fans in various locations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including experience with installing and assembling ceiling fans, wiring them to the electrical system, and mounting them securely to the ceiling. You will also need to ensure that the ceiling is strong enough to support the weight of the fan and create a suitable mounting location.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the charges are correct.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
  • Assessing the site where the ceiling fan is to be installed to determine the most appropriate location for the fan.
  • Ensuring that the ceiling is strong enough to support the weight of the fan and creating a suitable mounting location for it.
  • Installing and assembling the ceiling fan, wiring it to the electrical system, and mounting it securely to the ceiling safely and efficiently.
  • Testing the ceiling fan to ensure that it is functioning properly and that there are no electrical or mechanical issues.
  • Clean up the site after the installation is complete, including removing any debris or packaging materials.
  • Providing advice and guidance to customers on how to use and maintain the fan, as well as answering any questions they may have about the installation process and the products.
  • Providing a comprehensive range of electrical services, including but not limited to pulling electrical wires, installing power switches, and any other electrical works tasks.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Daily reporting and weekly reporting to direct manager.
  • Other tasks, when required by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of ceiling fans.
  • Handyman experience.
  • Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
  • A driving license and the ability to drive a 10-foot lorry/van.
  • A minimum of 1-year experience.
  • Comfortable working 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm).
