Job Title: Social Service Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Service Executive to join our team at Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Home's community outreach and volunteer management program, including planning, coordination, engagement, coaching, and expansion of these programs.
  • Assist the Senior Social Worker in case management, including conducting home visits, providing assistance and advice to caregivers, and assessing and preparing social reports for clients.
  • Develop, promote, and maintain a wide range of volunteer opportunities within the organization, including recruiting, managing, and deploying applicants for volunteer work.
  • Organize and manage events, including briefing volunteers, logistics, coordination with corporations, school groups, and individuals, and maintaining the Home's social media presence.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in any discipline
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Effectively bilingual
  • At least 1-2 years of similar working experience
  • IT savvy and competent in social media platforms
Preferred Qualities:
  • Positive and resilient personality
  • Willing to learn and explore new things
