Financial Control Testing Leader

Assume a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of control design assessments and control testing across wealth products and operations.
This position involves leading control design assessment teams, executing checklists, and recording results in Citi Risk & Control (CRC). Responsibilities also include developing control testing procedures in Confluence, obtaining necessary signoffs from covered businesses, and training Central Execution team members on designed control testing tools and established procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent understanding of MCA frameworks and processes, as well as advanced skills in MS Office applications. Strong communication, written, and presentation skills are essential for influencing others and fostering collaboration within virtual teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and driving quality-checking routines to ensure compliance with all relevant policies, operating guides, and owned control testing.
- Supporting team members on topics ranging from control testing design to performance management and control testing platforms basics.
- Maintaining relationships and driving accountability with partners and stakeholders to drive control testing's success in support of the business strategy.
As a successful candidate, you would ideally have:
- 5+ years relevant experience, 3+ years in Risk & Controls roles.
- Subject matter expert on controls design, execution, and/or control testing.
- Excellent understanding of MCA frameworks and processes.
- Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint.
- Effective communication, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong people and relationship management skills with the ability to influence others and foster a sense of collaboration.
