Diagnostic Laboratory Professional Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide high-quality laboratory diagnostic services.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process laboratory specimens for analysis.
  • Operate the Laboratory Information System for result query, order entry, and result entry.
  • Perform waived tests and moderate complexity tests in accordance with laboratory protocols.
  • Alert relevant laboratory personnel of critical values and report any adverse incidents.
  • Prepare reagents and materials requiring special handling to ensure reliability.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.
  • Notify laboratory personnel when instruments malfunction or supplies need re-ordering.
  • Participate in workshops, seminars, and in-service education classes to stay current with new instrumentation, techniques, and procedures.
  • Comply with good laboratory practice and safety protocols as set by regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as processing deliveries and invoices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.
  • 1-2 years of Clinical Laboratory experience.
  • Good laboratory skills, basic computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
