Job Title: Safety Eyewear Supply Chain Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage the end-to-end supply chain of safety eyewear, from order processing to delivery coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Processing and managing orders accurately and efficiently;
- Collaborating with optical shops, customers, and internal teams to track and coordinate order status, lens fitting, and dispatch schedules;
- Handling daily phone calls and emails with clarity and professionalism to ensure smooth communication with clients and partners;
- Maintaining and updating detailed Excel reports related to inventory, order tracking, delivery status, and performance metrics;
- Performing data entry, order verification, and document management with precision;
- Liasising with the logistics team to coordinate deliveries and troubleshoot any delays or issues;
- Providing administrative support to the Optical team as needed to ensure efficient workflow;
- Identifying and escalating urgent issues that may impact customer satisfaction or order fulfillment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in administrative or supply chain support roles, preferably in optical or healthcare-related industries;
- Strong numerical and analytical skills;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to handle multiple phone calls and manage communication professionally;
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management;
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with experience working with optical shops, eyewear supply chains, or SRX products are preferred. Familiarity with order management systems or ERP tools is also an advantage.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- End-To-End Order Management: Process and manage orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to track and coordinate order status, lens fitting, and dispatch schedules.
- Customer Communication: Handle daily phone calls and emails with clarity and professionalism to ensure smooth communication with clients and partners.
