Job Title: Electronics Manufacturing Specialist

Overview:

Electronics manufacturing specialists play a crucial role in the production of electronic devices. They operate advanced surface mount technology machines, including screen printers, pick-and-place equipment, reflow ovens, and automated optical inspection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate advanced surface mount technology machines to assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) for solder quality and components alignment.
  • Assist in setting up, calibrating, and performing minor maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Meet daily output targets by following production schedules and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Inspect assembled PCBs for defects and report any issues to the team lead.
  • Coordinate with teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions to improve production efficiency.
  • Follow established work instructions and standard operating procedures to maintain quality standards.
  • Accurately complete production logs and reports in a timely manner to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • GCSE 'O' level or Nitec qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required.
  • Prior experience in the electronics manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and assembly instructions in English is essential.
  • Positive working attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are necessary.
  • Physically fit and willing to learn are also required.
