Senior Accountant Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements, managing cash flow reports, and providing management reporting and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Cash Flow Management: Responsible for preparing all cash flow reports of Singapore and its Asia subsidiaries.
  • Management Reporting: Provide management reporting and cost analysis including price review for Singapore.
  • Inter-Company Transactions: Issuing of inter-company related DN/CN and passing entries into the system.
  • Tax Compliance: Review GST filing, consolidate group filing, and reconciliation of GST for revenue.
  • Quarterly Settlement: Co-ordination and support on the quarterly inter-company settlement.
  • Tax Audit: Preparation and support for the tax audit which includes preparing of schedules and checking of computation for tax return etc.

Requirements:

  • Education: Min Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Experience: Min 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks while also collaborating within a team.
  • Organisation: Meticulous, well-organised, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Travel: Willing to travel within Asia.
