Job Description
Financial Analysis Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing impending regulatory requirements and integration-related projects within the region. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Render reinsurance treaty contracts in a timely and accurate manner – be a subject matter expert in Reinsurance Treaty management.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet and treaty reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly/quarterly/yearly commissions payments.
  • Lead and ensure reinsurance including facultative payments are settled promptly and accurately.
  • Support the Finance Manager and other business functions to deliver high-level finance operational activities, internal/external audits, ensuring internal controls/SOX are in place and preparing Local/Group reporting requirements.
  • Identify and improve processes across finance activities. Collaborate with functional teams to enhance productivity and quality of finance and accounting operations, systems, and processes.
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Engage with stakeholders, resolve issues, and ensure no surprises in finance deliverables.
  • Any other duties assigned.

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • Significant experience in the Insurance industry, preferably non-life insurance
  • The ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work independently
  • Excellent PC skills with a good working knowledge of Excel and front-end insurance source systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail
  • Possess a passion for working in a dynamic environment
  • Able to prioritize workload effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
