Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and close monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, consolidation reports, analysis, and management reports.
  • Financial Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the financial performance of the company and provide suggestions and recommendations based on the financial reports prepared to improve financial performance.
  • Treasury Functions: Monitor cash balances at each legal entity, process payments and receipts, and manage cash flow.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Prepare monthly forecast reports and analysis, and assist in the preparation of the yearly budget.
  • Compliance and Governance: Liaise with external and internal auditors, and work closely with the in-house legal team and corporate secretary to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of legal documents.
  • Strategic Decision Making: Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision making within the organization.
  • Project Management: Participate in multiple projects and handle ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures, and manage and prioritize tasks, problem-solve issues, and work efficiently with other departments and business entities.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant degree from a well-accepted university.
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics and SAP.
  • Strong technical and analytical capabilities, with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
