Job Description:The role of an AI Computing Engineer is to design, develop, and deploy high-performance AI solutions for autonomous driving. As a key member of our team, you will work on cutting-edge technologies, focusing on the development of simulation models and optimization strategies.
You will collaborate with hardware development and testing teams to define modeling strategies and ensure designs meet specifications. Additionally, you will work closely with the compiler/model compilation team to provide optimization feedback and ensure accurate simulation results.
As an AI Computing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop custom CUDA operators in PyTorch that maintain data consistency between model and hardware for customer-facing applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop performance analysis models to identify hardware bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements.
- Build functional and execution models to accurately simulate chip behavior and results.
- Collaborate with hardware development and testing teams to define modeling strategies and ensure designs meet specifications.
- Work with the compiler/model compilation team to provide optimization feedback and ensure accurate simulation results.
- Develop custom CUDA operators in PyTorch that maintain data consistency between model and hardware for customer-facing applications.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Internship or academic research experience in chip modeling, performance simulation, or AI computing preferred.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, CUDA, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch. Experience with C++ or hardware modeling tools is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong interest in system architecture and performance analysis. Able to identify and resolve modeling discrepancies.
- Teamwork: Effective communicator and team player, capable of working across multidisciplinary teams.
