AI Computing Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Computing Engineer to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies for autonomous driving, contributing to the development of high-performance simulation models and optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop performance analysis models to identify hardware bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements.
  • Build functional and execution models to accurately simulate chip behavior and results.
  • Collaborate with hardware development and testing teams to define modeling strategies and ensure designs meet specifications.
  • Work with the compiler/model compilation team to provide optimization feedback and ensure accurate simulation results.
  • Develop custom CUDA operators in PyTorch that maintain data consistency between model and hardware, for customer-facing applications.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: Internship or academic research experience in chip modeling, performance simulation, or AI computing preferred.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, CUDA, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch. Experience with C++ or hardware modeling tools is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong interest in system architecture and performance analysis. Able to identify and resolve modeling discrepancies.
  • Teamwork: Effective communicator and team player, capable of working across multidisciplinary teams.
