Job Title: Sales Merchandiser

As a sales merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our business by managing product displays, stock levels, and promotions in large volume stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets by stocking and rotating products, maintaining inventory levels, and setting up promotional displays.
  • Work closely with store personnel to ensure profitability and high sales volume.
  • Recommend orders to store managers based on stock replenishment, promotions, and delivery dates.
  • Negotiate and secure prominent display areas and additional space.
  • Provide regular feedback on competitive activities, promotions, and new products in the market.
  • Build rapport with store personnel, managers, supervisors, floor staff, and stackers.
Merchandising Standards:
  • Maintain display space on beverage aisles, racks, coolers, etc. according to agreed merchandising standards.
  • Ensure that display spaces are fully stocked and replenished.
  • Build block displays during key selling periods or in line with planned promotions.
  • Display point-of-sale materials (POSMS) for maximum visibility in-store.
  • Practice first-in-first-out (FIFO) on stocks to ensure products are within expiry dates.
  • Handle products with care to reduce ullages.
Requirements:
  • Energetic and fast worker with sales-oriented skills.
  • Resourceful and independent individual.
  • Candidate must possess at least GCE 'N' Level or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a related field is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels.
  • Possess initiative, self-motivation, articulation, and results-oriented attitude.
  • Team player with strong negotiation skills.
